- Q: Are QwickLoad programs available elsewhere?
- No. QwickLoad Software programs are for sell directly from the Internet
only. There are no dealers or other vendors. The programs are available
only as down-loads from the Internet. A CD is available for people
who do not care to download the product. Look for the CD offer on the
purchase page
.
- Q: What about product support?
- Support is provided by e-mail. We will promptly answer questions.
To be better able to provide a quality product we would solicit
your feedback
whether you purchase our product or not. A huge amount of documentation
through ASHRAE sources for technical support is available. Context help
is available using the F1 key. Help includes index of keywords, contents view
and topics list. The F1 key is context sensitive to the current focus.
- Q: What about updates to the software?
- As minor changes are released, Registered users may upgrade
to same version, same zone limits. The procedure is to uninstall the current
version then download the update. The original name and registration number will work
on the new version..
- Q: Why Should I buy this product #1
- We believe that many HVAC professionals will find that
this software will save substantial time in several ways. The compute
time is faster than many other products. Time saved accumulates. The users
ability to tweak or iterate large projects by change of building parameters,
occupancy, loads etc. to explore results will accumulate to save you
time. Each report may be saved and/or edited with standard word processor
programs. Much of the program is grid-intensive, allowing quick fill-down
of selected cells, very much like a spreadsheet program.
- Q: Why Should I buy or try this product #2
- For HVAC professionals that use ERV products to recover
energy using air exchanges, the system ventilation mode allows for ERV (and
it's effectiveness no.) such that all outside air is conditioned as a VARIABLE
temperature depending on ambient. This feature saves time for alternate methods
of result modification or assumptions about the design day and allows a 'one
click' comparison with pre-conditioned or ERV ventilation sources as compared
to ambient ventilation air source. This ERV also serves to validate the 20% or
so energy savings when using ERVs (depending on outside air requirements)

- Simple. We believe that the Windows interface for this product is simple to use.
The grid pull-down and tree-view zone edits are are very user-friendly and allow
for simple model edits.

- Value. For most HVAC professionals the time saved value far exceeds the cost
of the program.
You will find that this program costs less than comparable products but offers
superior performance.
- Q: How can I try it out
- First download the trial.
Save the downloaded zip file then unzip resulting in an "install" folder.
Run the setup.exe program to install. The user interface is easy to learn.
- Again, if you don't want to download due to slow or no web access, consider
purchase of the CD.

Help is available from the menu, both
Indexed and Contents. The Context help is available using the F1 key.
